Thank you to the Rhode Island Nuclear Science Center for having Spira today! The girls got to see a real nuclear reactor, determine an unknown metal using gamma spectroscopy, and use a Geiger counter to detect radioactivity. It was a “BLAST”!

Spira 2018 is underway! Check out the winners of today’s building contest: Cloud 9! The objective? Use assorted items to make something useful, such as this cell phone charging station!

Last night, Spira 2017 came to a close. It was an incredible month of engineering with our campers and we couldn't be more proud!
Thank you to Whole Foods Market for providing us with one last meal together this summer as we reminisced about the past four weeks and admired our campers' hard work!
