Our animals go through supplies faster than you might think, and right now we’re especially in need of clay cat litter! With so many cats and kittens in our care, litter is one of the items we use every single day, and our stock is running low.

If you’ve been looking for a simple way to help the animals at PARL, consider sending a bag of clay litter from our wishlist. Every donation helps keep our cats comfortable while they wait for their forever homes. ❤️

We’re also always grateful for other wishlist items, including blankets, toys, treats, and cleaning supplies.

Thank you for helping us provide the best care possible for animals in need. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference! 🐾

🐾 June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month! 🐾

This month, we’re shining a spotlight on four very special cats: Boston Rob, Cirie, Colby, and Rizo.

These members of our “Survivor 50” group came to PARL from a home with over 100 cats. When they first arrived, the world was a scary and unfamiliar place. Human interaction was overwhelming, new environments were intimidating, and simply feeling safe took time.

Over the past several months, we’ve watched them make incredible progress. They’ve learned that people can be kind, that cozy beds are worth claiming, and that life can be about more than just survival. While they’re still shy and cautious, each of them has taken brave steps forward in their own way.

Boston Rob and Cirie are a bonded pair who rely on each other for comfort and confidence. Colby and Rizo continue to show us that healing isn’t always loud—sometimes it’s the quiet moments of trust that mean the most.

These cats aren’t looking for perfect homes. They’re looking for patient ones. Homes that understand that love isn’t always immediate, and that some of the most rewarding relationships are built one small victory at a time.

As we celebrate Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, we hope you’ll consider opening your heart to a cat who needs a second chance. Boston Rob, Cirie, Colby, and Rizo have already survived so much. Now they’re ready to find families who will help them truly thrive. ❤️

🐾 With surgery planning officially in the works for Missy Snort Snort, we are actively searching for a long-term foster to help her through recovery. ❤️

Snorty will need a quiet, loving place to rest and heal while she recovers from her life-changing surgery. Fostering gives animals like Snort the comfort of a home while still receiving support from PARL every step of the way.

We are getting CLOSE to our goal for Snort’s surgery, and we can’t thank you enough for the love and support so far. ❤️

But—we still need a little more help to get her there.

After her recent specialist consult, we now have a clearer picture of what Missy needs to finally breathe comfortably. This sweet girl deserves relief, and with your help, we can make it happen.

Donate, share, cheer her on—every little bit matters for our favorite snorty girl. 🐶💨. http://donate.parl.org/snort
