Our long search is over.
The management of the Lovecraft Inn is so very pleased to announce that we have found a new writer in residence just in time for our fall season.
We welcome Frank Oreto, author of weird and horrific short fiction.
Despite the string of heartbreaking tragedies that led Frank to our door, we hope his new position brings him some peace.
We ask that guests not approach the small black-ivy covered cottage until Frank has settled in and his incessant weeping no longer fills the air at all hours.
Welcome to the Lovecraft, Frank. Here’s hoping for a long, productive, and oh so disturbing, relationship until things come to an abrupt and disastrous end.

I regret to announce the departure of our longtime writer in residence, Frederick Gammel. (Pictured below.)

Unearthly screams were heard through out the night pouring from the old carriage house that served as Gammel's home and office. So we assumed all was well.

But this morning it was discovered that Gammel had packed his few possessions and fled into the night. Being that our fall season is poised to begin, the search for a new author in residence will begin immediately.

Responsibilities include the production of weird and disturbing fiction and creating and implementing any weird and disturbing promotions for the Inn itself.

Recompense consists of room and board on the grounds of the Lovecraft as well as free monthly psychiatric health examinations.

Please private message us with resumes and a thousand word writing sample as well as any records of previous incarceration.

Thank you and good luck.

Spring is finally on the way and we at the Lovecraft are excited to to get back in the garden. We've got some new additions to our biome of the the bizarre. From flesh-eater to flesh crawlers. You can come by and feed the plants. In fact we're counting on that. They're quite hungry.

Our Rooms: (All rooms are en suite, and are equipped with, Wifi, Cable, and a selection of vintage horror novels and anthologies.) The Montague has a clerical feel befitting the settings of many M. R. James's tales.
