Hours: 8 am-5 pm M-F

Responsibilities:

-Proactively develop new business, concentrating on end-users, such as original equipment manufacturers, steel fabricators, and government agencies;

-Strengthen existing customer knowledge and relationships to grow annual tonnage sales;

-Provide quotations, enter orders, confirm orders, and provide excellent customer service;

-Organize and structure daily / weekly plans consistent with objectives, goals, and sales targets;

-Diligently master Company software applications;

-Coordinate with other Company departments, including production and shipping;

-Learn about marketplace competitors (strengths and weaknesses);

-Promptly provide feedback to others regarding time-sensitive information (such as pricing, dates, comments, and credit) in person and via email, phone or text;

-Maintain accurate records of all sales activities according to policy; and

Qualifications:

-A bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least three years selling physical products (or equivalent sales experience)

-Professional sales training

-A skillset incorporating great attention to detail and accuracy.
