Here are a few of our favorite features from a new house we’ve been working on in Alpine.
We love when a space can do more than one thing and still feel like it was planned that way from the beginning. In this home, the garage was designed to double as a bright sport court, giving the family room for basketball, pickleball, and everyday use without tucking it away somewhere dark.
The mountain bike lounge is another one of those homeowner-specific spaces we get excited about. It gives the family a place to store gear, work on bikes, and head right out to the trails.

We love when the practical details get just as much attention as the design. In this home, the garage entry makes everyday access easier, the elevator provides easy access to the second floor and rooftop deck, and the upstairs potting room was placed to enjoy some of the best views in the house.

In case you missed it during this year’s Parade of Homes, this sport court was one of the spaces we were really excited about.
A lot of times, sport courts get pushed down into the basement and feel pretty tucked away. For this home, the goal was to make it a space where you can play, watch, hang out, and still feel connected to what’s going on.
That’s where a room like this really works. It’s not just extra square footage. It’s a space the family will actually use.
