A peek inside our factory floor where every single GT500 begins its journey, built from the ground up, one meticulous step at a time. You may recognize our Highland Green beauty keeping the rest of the builds company, fresh off the line and ready for her new home.

What does a legend feel like from the inside?

Lamborghini "Cuoio Olympus" Nappa Leather, a modern shade of beige that is warm and refined, sitting beautifully inside one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built.

Our automatic shifter mechanism and bezel have been designed with a classic style front of mind, but integrated under the console with a modern Ford 10-speed transmission option.

Even with our interior, maintaining consistency with our “classic style modern drive” philosophy was a priority.

We think the result speaks for itself.

We've been waiting patiently for this one and what a pleasure it is to finally present her!

This beauty is dressed in the original 1967 GT500 Highland Green, with Le Mans style center and rocker stripes in Wimbledon White, a color combination that is as classic and timeless as the car itself.

Some things are simply worth waiting for.

Hi-Tech Legends will be attending Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2026 from from the 17th to the 24th January 2026.

The Hi-Tech Legends 1967 Shelby GT500 is not a restored original or “restomod”. Our bodies are built from the ground up using brand new reproduction steel panels which are assembled in specially developed jigs and fixtures using modern tig and spot welding techniques.

Bodies are then gapped and finished before being taken through an Glasurit. Refinish epoxy prime and painting process. Base body and stripe colors are applied as per each individual customers specification.
All of the aforementioned processes include several quality assurance audits which ensures the best panel fitment and paint finish.

Our engineers were tasked with integrating a 1960’s classic style automatic shifter mechanism with our GT500 centre console.

To then further integrate the shifter with a modern Ford 10-speed automatic gearbox proved to be quite a challenge, ultimately requiring a custom billet machined shifter bezel that could be calibrated to the shift positions on the 10-speed.

We think they did a great job in staying true to the styling of this 60’s icon.

We are excited to see these GT500’s heading from the factory to their respective owners.

Hi-Tech Legends and it’s authorised dealers guide each customer to one of several approved independent installers in the United States who are experts in the engine and drivetrain installations for our GT500.

Customers have requested for these chassis to be set up to take the Ford 5.2L Supercharged “Predator” (current Raptor R) Engine. Gearbox options include the Tremec 6-Speed manual or Ford 10 Speed Auto.

The Hi-Tech Legends GT500 will be displayed on the Superformance LLC. stand #23459 during The SEMA Show from the 4th to the 7th November 2025. There are sales staff on hand should you wish to experience the car up close, or if require further details on how to place an order. We look forward to seeing you there!

We just completed this build for a very special customer who also happens to own an original GT500 in the same “Lime Gold” Metallic.

Is it just us, or is this one of those unique colors that only seems to resonate with the Shelby GT500?

We cannot wait for this customer to do an OLD vs NEW drive comparison!
