As the Property Management World Turns...So I receive a request about one of our units. I respond with the usual questions and she tells me that she has
"3 pets and i smoke medical w**d cuz of my disability and i also have a medical card for that".
Me: We have a two pet limit, under 20 lbs.
Her: "Oh k cuz my pets r service animals there small dogs and and one cat".
Me: "My apologies, you said they were pets" at which point I send her our Fair Housing language regarding reasonable accommodation.
Me: "In addition, the Utah State statute regarding medical ma*****na prohibits smoking ma*****na, it can only be ingested (but not as candy, cake or brownie), or applied topically. If you would like to schedule a showing, you can reach me at" and I give her my phone number.
Her: "K thank you I'll call soon when my cellphone is charged"

That sure is a slow charging phone...
