I edited these photos how the client wanted, not how I usually would.

I’ve always loved a bright, airy, and natural feel. But this client asked if her photos could be a little warmer. In the past, I would’ve reinforced that clients hire me for the work and style they see on my page—something most photographers stand by.

Then, while planning my own wedding, I found an amazing videographer whose work I loved, except for the editing colors. When I asked if he could edit using my preferred color style, he agreed, and it completely changed my perspective.

That experience reminded me that while style matters, what matters most is how the client feels when they see their photos. After all, it’s their story. ❤️
