🚫🔥 Due to extreme fire danger and continued dry conditions, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions will go into effect at 5:00 p.m. on July 2, 2026, in the Provo City foothills and watershed.

All open fires are prohibited, including campfires, charcoal grills, pellet grills, and other wood- or charcoal-burning devices. Propane fire pits and propane grills are still allowed, provided they have an on/off shutoff valve and are used at least 3 feet away from dry grass, brush, and other vegetation.

Help protect our community, homes, and public lands by following the restrictions and preventing human-caused wildfires.

If you see smoke, an unattended fire, or any fire where it shouldn't be, call 911 immediately.

All personal fireworks are banned with in Provo City until further notice. Permitted shoots, such as the Stadium of Fire, will still be allowed. We thank you in advance for your adherence to this directive.
