DOG'S BEST FRIEND

Socializing Chopper!
Chopper had no trust for humans when we first started working with him. He was in a flight state of mind! It took me at least 15 minutes to get the leash on him at the city pound. Chopper has come along way in a short time. Chopper needs to learn that not all humans will hurt him. The only way we can change his mind is to give him lots of good experiances around humans. I have been socializing Chopper with adults as well as kids so he can find a good home. Chopper is making amazing progress for being a fearful dog that most times takes months and months to rehabilitate.

Cruzer!
Cruzer is a very high energy dog! You can walk him two miles and it barley fazes him. Boarder Collies are high energy and love to run so I trained Cruzer to run beside the four wheeler to give him the exercise he needs each day to stay calm. Before I started running him he was showing dominate behavior with most members of the pack and Mayo corrected him twice. I could see Cruzer had too much energy pent up so I trained him to run beside me just like we were walking. Cruzer has to stay in a heal beside me or behind me while he runs. Notice the leash is loose so he is following me under my direction. I have taught him several commands when I first started this exercise to give him direction and protect him. Each intersection we come to he knows to slow down and if there is a car and we stop he sits and wait for the command to go! Now we drain him each morning and sometimes in the afternoon so he can be with the pack rather than in a crate. We want him to learn to be calm and submissive so he can find a good home in any setting!

JAMMAJ!
Jam and Maj love the lake. They spend all their time chasing Duke. Duke only want to retrieve the tennis ball. He spends all his time avoiding Jam and Maj to get back to me so I can throw the ball back in the lake for him.

The Pack!
We have no containment or fence at the shop. When we let them out to go do their business they stay in the area I set the boundaries for. We had to get Shotsee from the neighbors a couple of times. He is the escape artist of the pack. All of the pack has to sit and stay before going out or coming back into the shop.

JAM WEEKLY!
Jam is growing so fast. It seems he did it all over night! He is as tall as Zee and Mayo now!

FLOATING ON AIR!
Look at Reno go! I have been running Reno the last week beside the 4 Wheeler to help his leg and get him back in shape. Reno had over a month of down time while his leg was healing.

Cruzer is making leaps and bounds towards this weekends SUPER ADOPTION in Salt Lake City. Wish us all good luck finding good homes for all the dogs we are taking and the dogs from Wagon-n-Train Rescue
