What a fantastic Thursday meeting at the Punta Gorda Rotary Club!

A special thank you to fellow Rotarian Jim Saunders for taking us on a trip down memory lane. Jim truly wowed us with historic photos and fascinating stories of what Punta Gorda looked like in the 1970s. It was a wonderful reminder of how much our community has grown while preserving its unique charm.

We also had several important announcements. Rotarian Cole Kelly reminded everyone that volunteers are still needed for Red, White & Blue Days. Be sure to join the fun this Sunday at Laishley Park from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the spectacular drone show beginning at 9:00 PM. It’s a 10/10 experience and highly recommended!

Don’t forget to confirm your attendance for next week’s meeting. After all, there’s no better place to be at noon on a Thursday than with the Punta Gorda Rotary Club!

Members of the Punta Gorda Rotary Club had the pleasure of delivering a Participation Plaque to Culver's on El Jobean as a token of our appreciation for their sponsorship and participation in the Taste of Punta Gorda.

What we expected to be a simple thank-you visit turned into something even more special. Instead of the usual handshake, our club received a generous donation check! We were truly touched by their continued commitment to supporting our community.

As Rotarians, one of the things we enjoy most is building relationships with local businesses and getting to know the people who help make our community such a great place to live. Being a large franchise, we were pleasantly surprised and grateful to see Culver's El Jobean, take such an active interest in supporting local causes and organizations.

Thank you, Culver's, for your generosity and for investing in our community!
