A commercial game that I used when reviewing students was “Connect 4.” i made up paper boards and we used those as well as the commercial board. Students can pair up in groups or teams. if they answer correctly, they get a turn, allowing them a turn on the board, if not they wait till they get a correct answer. it helps to play the commercial game before they play with a paper board as they grasp the concept of the checkers falling.

Round Robin Brainstorming Directions: Divide students into groups. Give each group a different brainstorming paper. Have students brainstorm the topic and after a few minutes the paper is passed on to another group and they brainstorm on the new topic. It may be helpful to have several papers with the same topic, if there is a large class.
