Shine On

My name is Kerra and I’m from a small town in south Seattle, and went to the same high school as both my parents, Go Pirates! In high school I got one of my favorite jobs, I worked on the Seattle waterfront at Ye Olde Curiosity Shop! They had a ton of amazing and unique trinkets that were always super interesting to me. Working in downtown Seattle will always be a treasured memory for me, it not only shaped who I have become as an adult, but it also influenced my love for music, style, and freedom!

I have 3 beautiful daughters who are all magical unicorns. I go out of my way to make things memorable for them from adventures to activities we like to stay busy. We love the outdoors and nature, and the Pacific Northwest has some of the most amazing sights that I’ve ever seen. Although born and raised in Washington, it never gets old. I’ve been married to a submariner for almost a decade, and we both love the mythology of the Scandinavian counties. I chose Norway as my country to represent in the 4th Shift into Summer pinup contest, because my husband has a Norwegian background and we just can’t get enough of the style, and culture.

We just moved back from the UK, after living in London for 3 years. It was an amazing adventure and we were lucky enough to see some sights many don’t get the opportunity to. While living abroad I developed a real passion for baking and costume making! I am often hired by my friends, family and community to make cakes and baked goods! Cupcakes by BootyBear and BootyBear Artistry are my two ventures into party planning, baking and making sweet treats. My kids love to help in the kitchen and in the craft room. Especially when they can get their hands dirty and really get involved.
