Some bad news...

Over the holidays I had exploratory surgery to find that I now have bladder Cancer. The indication is that, although the tumors removed were of a high level, they did not appear to be invasive. The surgeon is confident that they removed it all, but indicated that recurrence is highly likely.

Over the next few months, I will be undergoing chemotherapy and other procedures to follow the progress of the disease process. Following the treatment course, they will then follow me forever to assure that when/if it returns, we are on top of it. Over the next few months, I will be rearranging my schedule to accommodate the various physician visits and treatments.

Any thoughts, prayers, hopes and cheer will be much appreciated.
