As you know, I recently traveled to Italy with my dad to explore our ancestral roots.
I’m a 4th-generation Italian American with family from Calabria. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit there.
We visited so many incredible places, from Rome to Florence to Venice, as well as some charming smaller towns along the way.
It’s more beautiful than these pictures can capture so you must go too!

We took a tour with which was an amazing experience!
In our tour group, we met people from all over.
I really enjoyed talking with everyone and getting to know them! I made new friends and ran into a friend from home .fualaau …how cool was that?! lol
Our guide Oana was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming—we absolutely loved her!

Dinner in wine country, charcuterie boards galore, gelato, cannoli, more gelato!…museums of course and beautiful churches!
I mean…take your breath away and say woah kind of experiences!

My dad the photographer took countless pictures which led to some funny moments of me capturing him while he was snapping pics lol

Tiny cars everywhere! Don’t underestimate them though…get out of the way or you WILL get run over

This trip was truly one of the highlights of my life and I’m so grateful to my dad for making it possible.

Something I noticed and admire…
A lot of love is there
Quality of life is a priority
Slower paced enjoying the moment (except for when driving lol)
