The students and families of Pfaff Elementary have gone above and beyond to help fight childhood hunger. Over the past month, they collected cereal boxes to donate to the Bean Bag Food Program.
The goal was 100 boxes…
Our Pfaff community exceeded expectations! Thank you for your generosity and support of others—what an incredible sight in the lobby.
Every student and family should feel extremely Pfaff Proud!

This week, we visited the STEM Club to interview students who participated in the Bucks County IU STEM Challenge.
This year, elementary and middle school students were challenged to design a factory prototype using K’Nex and/or Engino that demonstrates sustainable production, showcasing efficiency, waste reduction, and the use of recycled or reusable materials.
Pfaff students have been working hard on their projects for the last two months using the same Design Thinking Process they use in class:
Ask
Imagine
Plan
Build
Test
Reflect
Share
Students were excited to present their projects and explain how they could be used in everyday life:
The Bottle - to - Brick Heater / Compressor
Team: Etta, Brynn, and Rosa / The Positive Pumas
The Dirty to Clean Crayon Machine
Team: Charlie and Anna / The Aesthetic Nuggies
A Solar Charger - a box that charges batteries with Solar Panels
Team: Aiden, Matthew, and Adrian / The Second Life Cells
Smoke Cleaning Machine
Team: Grayson and Thor / The Infinity Stones

Thank you to Pfaff Elementary 3rd grader, Cambrea, for sharing her book recommendation, "Dear Dumb Diary: Let’s Pretend This Never Happened,” by Jim Benton.
“I want to recommend this book because it’s really funny! The main character plays outside with her dog, Stinker, and likes to play pretend. But the funniest part is that the book is her diary, and you need permission to read it. She even sets up traps for the reader.”
Thank you, Cambrea, for sharing this story with us, and keep up the great work!

Happy Read Across America Week! Throughout the week, students at Pfaff Elementary will be sharing and recommending their favorite books as part of the celebration.
Today, we want to thank fifth-grader Amina for sharing her book recommendation, “Dork Diaries 16: Tales from a Not-So-Bratty Little Sister,” by Rachel Renee Russell.
Amina shared that the book is told from the perspective of the “not-so-bratty little sister.” She recommends it because it’s interesting and fun to see what Brianna, the little sister, writes in her older sister, Nikki’s diary. The book is super dramatic and packed with humor. Nikki is dealing with school, her friends, and a huge scandal when her sister gets hold of her diary and phone. It’s a nonstop, funny read, and if you have a younger sibling, this book is for you!
Thank you, Amina, for this wonderful recommendation and for helping us celebrate Read Across America Week!
