Have you ever experienced a moment that changed the course of your life forever?
For me, it was when my neighbor was gunned down by a police officer. Witnessing that tragedy opened my eyes to the injustices too many families face and inspired me to become a community organizer. That journey led me to work alongside Rev. Al Sharpton, fighting for accountability, justice, and opportunities for communities that often go unheard.
Today, as an educator—not a career politician—I see a different crisis hurting working families every day: the affordability crisis. Rising rents, higher grocery bills, and increasing costs are making it harder for people to get ahead, no matter how hard they work.
That's why I'm running as a Democrat for Assembly District 32. I believe our communities deserve leadership that understands these struggles firsthand and is ready to fight for real solutions.

Today, we celebrate resurrection, renewal, and the promise of hope even in the hardest seasons.
Easter reminds us that no matter what we face, light can rise from darkness, and new beginnings are always possible.
As a mother, educator, and candidate for State Assembly, my faith teaches me to serve with compassion, stand for justice, and never give up on our community.
