✨ Some updates break your heart even as you write them.

Emberleigh has been fighting so fiercely. Last night, she needed urgent abdominal surgery. The risks were enormous — any outcome could have been fatal. We held her close before the procedure, whispering prayers for a miracle.

Through the night, the surgery seemed successful. Her color returned, her body steadied, and for a moment, hope flickered. But hours later, our world shattered again — Emberleigh went into cardiac arrest. Watching her small body motionless under the hands of doctors was a pain no words can capture.

Miraculously, she was revived. Fragile. Fighting. Every hour now feels like a battle, every monitor beep a reminder of how precious life is.

Emberleigh is still here, still holding on, still proving that even the tiniest warrior can carry unthinkable strength.

👉 Please keep her in your prayers.

✨ While most babies were learning lullabies, Aila was learning to fight for her life.

At just four months old, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia — a rare and aggressive cancer. Her crib was replaced by hospital beds, her toys by IV lines, transfusions, and endless days under fluorescent lights.

For six months, she endured high-dose chemotherapy, around 40 blood transfusions, and life-threatening infections. Her first steps weren’t at home but in hospital corridors — each one proof that her spirit could not be broken.

Now, at three years old, Aila has been in remission for more than two years. Her laugh fills the home, her energy radiates, and her parents treasure every moment they once feared would be stolen.

💛 Aila’s story is survival, resilience, and hope — a reminder of why we Go Gold this September.

✨ At just eight years old, Freddie’s childhood changed forever.

What seemed like sore throats and swelling turned out to be Rhabdomyosarcoma — a rare and aggressive cancer. A tumour pressed behind his nose and throat, and life became hospitals, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and transfusions.

He endured nine rounds of chemo. Seven weeks of proton beam radiotherapy. Endless nights with feeding tubes and hospital alarms. But through every hardship, Freddie’s spirit never broke.

Now 11, he has completed treatment. It’s a milestone worth celebrating, yet his journey isn’t finished. Scans remain. Fear of relapse lingers.

Still, Freddie stands here today — not just as a patient, but as a survivor. A child whose courage inspires everyone who meets him.

✨ When her son Chase was diagnosed with a brain tumor, Jessica’s world shattered in an instant.

Hospital visits, scans, and treatments became the rhythm of their days. But Jessica quickly realized something vital — she needed strength, too.

She laced up her running shoes and joined a team raising awareness and funds for pediatric brain tumor research. With each mile, she carried her fear, her hope, and her love for Chase.

Running became her therapy, her advocacy, her way of fighting back. Jessica’s efforts raised thousands, bringing not only funds but also inspiration to families walking the same painful road.

Through every race and every day beside Chase, Jessica proves that courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s the determination to keep moving forward anyway.
