The allegations towards this influencer are abhorrent and if they’re true then she needs to go to jail for a long time, but I wouldn’t be so quick to villainize and condemn this woman. She too might have been a victim of grooming, trafficking and abuse. Her case/her story is a manifestation and a symptom of a much deeper and darker issue of the complexities of online algorithms—who and what controls them. Her story is just the tip of the iceberg.
