Royal Tea Talk

SPOILER ALERT:
I'm not a Preacher - I just like to talk about the things that I like the most. I like sharing a recipe, or a memory. I like discussing a good book, or offer a POV that I read or a great conversation I had earlier that day. I am not a Preacher - I just like reflecting on the Man that changed my life. I am not a Preacher because that designated office is a special position. It carries a heavy weight being a Preacher/Pastor. It should make a imprint on the knees of the pants, and callous the shepherds' hands carrying the staff that leads the sheep. It shouldn't make our wallets heavier, or our interests wider.

The 12 disciples, later 13 Apostles - all actual present day witnesses of the work of Christ. I wasn't born then, I didn't share a meal with Jesus, or sit on the hillside listening to Him teach, or eat at the fish fry. I'm living in Faith as I agree with all that I have read as revelation. I embrace his teachings. Please note that with all my posting - I am a modest woman of modest means, I am a widow, mother, grandmother, godmother, former a hard working low paid nurse, living in a simple house on a conventional street. I sell snow cones in the summer and make good teas in the fall and winter but never a Preacher. Sometimes I cook good, while other times it's a hot mess! Some say I'm funny while others I'm sarcastic. Some say I'm an angel while others say I'm a witch. Some say I'm opinionated but I will say I am a passionate speaker. I have a good recall of scripture,( sometimes) I love hearing sound preaching but I AM NOT a Preacher. I am not a pastor.
I am an Evangelist:
I'm utilizing my right as an American Citizen to free speech.
I'm utilizing my skill of communication to enrich my community.
I'm using this public platform to encourage the body of Christ with the words of my testimony while sharing other testimonies.
By default that makes me a broadcaster- An Evangelist like the Samaritan woman at the well, like the women at the Tomb. I'm tying the red chord in the window like Rahab.
Broadcasting victories, declaring the marvelous works of the Lord.
Watching, waiting, enduring, keeping self control, being sober minded. Encouraging the pursuit of Kingdom happiness.
