🗂️ Join us on Saturday, May 23 for Community Archiving Day, a program organized in collaboration with our current exhibition "About Us: The American Imaginary."
Meet over 20 organizations preserving memory, resilience, and beauty across the five boroughs! Oral history projects, digital archives, and institutional repositories will be on-site to share their materials and discuss opportunities for research, collaboration, and more. The afternoon will also include:
🎞️ Screenings
12:00 pm – 1:15 pm: Corona Collection: An Oral History Project by the Louis Armstrong House Museum
3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: My Baryo Project by Claro de los Reyes
🛠️ Workshops
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Queens Monuments, a workshop led by Queens Memory Project with Meral Agish.
1:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Neighborhood Memories: Collaging Our Collective Home, facilitated by Charanya Ramakrishnan of the Louis Armstrong House Museum.
