A Path in the Snow.

The wisdom of Proverbs 22:6 advises, “Train up a child in the way he should go,” and the principle is mirrored in nature. It is simple to carve a path through soft, newly fallen snow. But when that snow freezes into ice, the same task requires a pick and immense effort.

A child’s heart is much the same. In youth, it is receptive and easily guided. This is the time to instill faith and build character. By providing direction during this tender season, we help create a clear and lasting path for them to follow through life.

As we step into 2026, we're called to a year of consecrated expectation. Based on Joshua 3:5, we're urged to prepare for God's amazing things by consecrating ourselves, letting go of the past, and moving forward with faith. Honoring the Holy Spirit within us leads to spiritual growth, increased fruit, and a deeper connection with God. By yielding every area of our lives to His Spirit, we position ourselves to receive God's promises. Let's consecrate ourselves, aligning our hearts and purifying our motives to recognize and steward God's next move. As we do, we'll experience God's amazing things and fulfill our purpose. May we walk in prepared expectancy, anchored in God's unchanging promise. Let's clear the clouds and allow God's power to shine through. May our past be sanctified, our expectation consecrated, and our hope anchored in God's promise. We're blessed to enter 2026 with a faithful, prepared step.
