Last week, we gathered as a community to see the progress of CRECE, and it was one of those moments that reminded us why we do this. CRECE has taken longer to open than we ever hoped. Along the way, we’ve faced hurdle after hurdle; unexpected challenges, but what has never wavered is the love, advocacy, and belief from our community. We are so close now. The top floor is nearly complete, and closer than ever to opening.
Walls already reflect the grit, passion, and resilience of the people they were built for. Last week’s gathering proved that CRECE is already alive; filled with connection, laughter, shared stories, and collective hope.
Thank you to everyone who has stood with us, pushed with us, and believed with us. Stay tuned! We are almost at the finish line and we can’t wait to welcome you all home.

La semana pasada nos reunimos como comunidad para ver el progreso de CRECE, y fue uno de esos momentos que nos recuerdan por qué hacemos este trabajo. CRECE ha tardado más en abrir de lo que esperábamos. En el camino, hemos enfrentado obstáculo tras obstáculo y desafíos inesperados, pero lo que nunca ha flaqueado ha sido el amor, la defensa y la confianza de nuestra comunidad. Ahora estamos muy cerca. El piso superior está casi terminado y estamos más cerca que nunca de abrir. Estas paredes ya reflejan la fuerza, la pasión y la resiliencia de las personas para quienes fueron construidas. La reunión de la semana pasada demostró que CRECE ya está vivo, lleno de conexión, risas, historias compartidas y esperanza colectiva. CRECE was honored to join the Three Kings Day celebration hosted by our very own bringing families together for a beautiful day rooted in tradition, culture, and community. 💫

We were proud to sponsor the roscas; meaningful symbol of this holiday, and share them with our neighbors as we celebrated joy, unity, and generosity.

📚✏️ CRECE is helping our community start the school year strong!

This back-to-school season, we were able to donate 550 school supplies to children and families across two amazing events in Corona and Jackson Heights.
A huge thank you to our incredible partners and elected officials for making this possible. Your support helps us ensure that every child in our community has the tools they need to thrive. 💛
Most importantly, this is just a glimpse of what we envision for CRECE when we open our doors, a community-led space where families can access resources, opportunities, and support all year round

En esta temporada de regreso a clases, pudimos donar 550 útiles escolares a niños y familias en dos increíbles eventos en Corona y Jackson Heights.
