Mercedes Benz ELV (steering lock) malfunction on a 2012 c class. When this happens, the car is unable to start, it’s super common on C class and E class models around 2010, give or take a few years. I do about 6 or so of these repairs per year. I fixed this one today out in the snow and sub freezing temps 🥶 in Dorchester. Not my favorite job to do in the cold but I pushed through and got it done.

I don’t always work weekends. But when I do… I like to absolutely torture myself!

2017 Porsche Macan with all keys lost, parked on the street with limited and timed parking, downtown Boston, right outside the Gahhhden, in sub freezing temps, and driver door has to be open for a while to get to the BCM module which is buried deep in the dash. The BCM holds the encrypted immobilizer data for this car, which was difficult to get out due to traffic constantly driving by.
