Racine – Deana K. Acosta (nee. Sparkman), age 55, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on July 5, 2026. She was born on October 21, 1970, in Dallas County, Arkansas to parents Fairel and Barbara Sparkman. Deana spent her childhood in Arkansas, before to moving Wisconsin in her late teens.

She spent 11 years working for Air Cargo Carriers in Milwaukee and made many long-lasting friendships. When Deana wasn’t working, one of her greatest joys was spending time with her children and granddaughter. They will always remember her as being extremely hardworking and supportive of them whenever they needed her – in other words, Deana was an amazing mom. She also had 3 dogs she absolutely adored – Chi Chi, Maddy, and Batman. She made many trips to visit her family back where she grew up in Arkansas and was her favorite place to travel to.

Deana enjoyed a variety of TV shows, especially drama, including Supernatural, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Once Upon a Time, as well as True Crime Podcasts. Some of her favorite music artists were Prince and Johnny Cash. She will be remembered as a loving person, who cared deeply for her family and friends. Deana will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Lorence, Bernardo, and Emilio (Emilie); granddaughter, Kahlya; her brothers and sisters in Arkansas; longtime friend, Kara; and many other relatives, family, and friends.

A Celebration of Deana’s life will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at her residence. She will be laid to rest with her parents in Arkansas at a later date.
