π March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! π
This month, we celebrate inclusion, opportunity, and the unique strengths individuals with developmental disabilities bring to our communities every day.
At our organization, we see firsthand what happens when people are supported, connected, and given the chance to grow β confidence builds, goals are reached, and communities become stronger.
β¨ Potential Is Limitless. β¨
We believe that with the right opportunities and support, everyone can thrive, contribute, and succeed.
Join us in promoting awareness, inclusion, and community for all.
New Year, New Beginnings at LCS
With the New Year comes new beginnings and transitions at LCS, and we want to share an important update with our community.
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to gradually phase out our prevocational (Explore) services. This decision allows us to further focus on our community-centered mission.
All other services will continue and remain unchanged.
Our Community-Based Programs, including Connect and QEST, will continue to operate as usual. Our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered services remains strong.
You may also notice our building listed on the market in the future. Our goal is to remain in our current space, and we are actively exploring options to do so. Regardless of the outcome, we are committed to minimizing disruption and ensuring continuity of services.
While some things may look different, our focus remains the same: supporting individuals and families with reliable, meaningful community services.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. We value your trust and appreciate your continued partnership.

This week LCS Connect took part in using their creative skills to make boooook vases during one of their classes that they hold at the Kenosha Library. Everyone really enjoyed working alongside others and creating some spooktacular pieces.
