Normally, we’d mean the cozy kind… not the “air quality alert” kind. 😅
While the wildfire smoke has us wishing for clearer skies, we’re sharing something a little more fun—a charming pillow sewing kit featuring an adorable campfire appliqué and the saying:

Somehow, in the middle of fabric bolts, classes, laughter, projects, deliveries, and beautiful conversations… we missed celebrating months 6 and 7. 😊
So today we’re celebrating all three.
This marks 8 months since we opened the doors to Stitched, and what an incredible journey it’s been.
To everyone who has walked through our doors, shared a story, taken a class, brought in a quilt, purchased a spool of thread (or an armful of fabric 😉), or simply cheered us on… thank you.
Building a small business takes hard work, faith, and community. We wouldn’t be here without you, and we never take your support for granted.
Thank you for helping us build our Stitched community into more than a quilt shop but a place where creativity, friendship, and stories are stitched together every day.

There’s something special about surrounding ourselves with beautiful things made by talented hands.
These cheerful new daisy cards by local artist Kathi Wilson just arrived, and they made my day a little brighter. 🌼💛

One of my favorite parts of Stitched is hearing the stories behind the projects that come through our doors. 💛
Recently, our friend Katie came in looking for the perfect backing for a quilt that means the world to her.
She put together inherited pieced rows from her Japanese grandmother, who spent most of her life in Hawaii. Katie lovingly brought those rows together into one quilt top, navigating every imaginable seam allowance and an incredible mix of fabrics—from linen and bark cloth to upholstery fabrics and vintage clothing.
The result is simply stunning in its myriad of colors, looks, and textures.
Her grandmother had created enough rows for several quilts, so Katie is making another for a family member, too. What a remarkable gift to leave behind, and what a beautiful way to honor someone you love.
Moments like these remind me why Stitched exists.
Yes, we sell fabric. But the fabric is really just the beginning. It’s the keepsake that carries the memories, the conversations around the kitchen table, the hands that stitched before ours, and the hope that someone will someday wrap themselves in the love we’ve left behind.
That’s why we believe the fabric is simply the souvenir. The real treasure is the story it carries.
Thank you, Katie, for allowing us to be a small part of your family’s story. It is one we’ll be thinking about for a long time. ❤️

🇺🇸 Stars, Stripes & Stitching! 🧵✨
We’ll be taking a long weekend to celebrate Independence Day (and maybe sneak in a little stitching of our own).
Stitched will be CLOSED July 4, 5 & 6 and will reopen with our regular hours on Tuesday, July 7.
Have a safe holiday, eat an extra hot dog for us 🌭, admire the fireworks 🎆, and we’ll see you next week with plenty of fabric waiting for you!
