Wake County - Did you know?

Triangle Area Parenting Support (TAPS) North Carolina offers its Program for Early Parent Support to parents in the Triangle, providing participants with emotional support, an inclusive and safe community, and empowerment to grow as they experience challenges with others who understand their perspective. Serving both Spanish- and English-speaking communities, this program is completely free of cost and provides participants with crucial resources including diapers, grocery gift cards and books (in participants’ home language). The goal of these parent groups is to ensure that all families served can keep their children dry, fed and living in enriched environments. TAPS is currently offering this program to families in Wake County with babies up to 18 months of age.
For more information about programs for early parenting support from TAPS, please email Leigh Greene {tapsnc.org}, Program Coordinator, or call 984-464-1601.
