These dogs have known little beyond confinement and will need patience, kindness, and a safe place to begin again.

Penny is a 6-year-old female Aussiedoodle mix who is looking for a fresh start and a family willing to give her the time she needs to settle in. She will require **spay surgery prior to adoption.**

Penny's previous adoption was simply not the right fit. She needs a home that understands that transitions can be stressful and that introductions to other four-legged family members should happen slowly. Giving her time to decompress, learn her new routine, and build trust with her new family will set her up for success.

This sweet girl deserves a chance to show her true personality in a loving home. If you're looking for a loyal companion and are willing to be patient during her adjustment period, Penny may be the perfect match for you.

Because of her recent return, meet-and-greets with any existing dogs in the home will be required prior to adoption. We strongly encourage adopters to give Penny time to decompress and settle in before expecting her to interact extensively with resident pets.
