What a wonderful day spent with our community! For the third year in a row, TAA members volunteered at the Special Olympics NC Summer Games as part of our TAA Day of Service. Members came together with their teams to support the event, and many brought friends and family to join.

In addition, TAA proudly presented a donation to Special Olympics NC, made possible through funds raised by XCEL’s Happy Hour Headshot fundraiser at the January Membership Dinner Meeting.

We were inspired by the SONC athletes and are grateful for the opportunity to serve together as an association. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make the Summer Games such a meaningful and memorable event

TAA members attended the 2026 AANC CONNECTed Conference and joined affiliates from across North Carolina for AANC Lobby Day. They met with state legislators to advocate for policies that protect housing affordability and to address the growing issue of rental application fraud impacting communities statewide.
