We provided information and awareness to the Durham Community about available job opportunities and programs!

Our very own Darlette McCormick attended the Hillside High School College Fair to talk about BULLS Academy! 🧑🏾‍🔬

This week has been so amazing we are not even sure where to begin! Durham Public Schools has some amazing programs that provide great opportunities for students and we had the privilege to participate in Scholars-at-Work this week. It was so awesome to have such brilliant and creative young minds in the Alternative Career Pathways and Cultivate Creative Cafe space this week! They had a truly immersive experience where they created marketing materials, a promotional video, and provided ideas on how we can enhance the space to better support them and their career goals. We had several local business partners, dedicated to the community, take time from their busy schedules to come by and provide information on their journey and why they chose their career path. All of them stated how they wished they had a program like Scholars-at-Work when they were in high school. It is so important to expose our young leaders on all that is possible and remove the limitations and barriers to a great future. Thank you Durham Public Schools CTE for all that you provide for the students and we would like to personally thank all of our business partners for pouring into them.
