Native Foreigner

If you were able to figure out that Native Foreigner is an oxymoron, congratulations, you also passed the 8th grade👩🏾‍🎓 Who doesn’t love a play on words?? 😏

I might be in my feeling today, but I had a thought or notion to no longer vote. It’s not the first time I’ve felt this way, but “honoring my ancestors” always prevailed. However today I had a theory. The condition of us brown, red, yellow, black, and blue folk has not changed enough to have any allegiance to any political party or the system as a whole. Maybe our ancestors fought the wrong good fight. Maybe it was those house negroes, or the ones who were angry they could almost past for “white”, maybe it was them “uppity” black professionals. I mean who the f**k felt so bad about themselves that they thought “I’m gonna fight and die to vote so I can have what them white folk have”? Why not fight just for our own s**t, a Black Wall Street nationwide, our banks, our grocery stores, or schools? Iijs, what’s the point at this point? 

Its not political its personal.

I’m talking about reparations y’all! How long did it take for a sitting POTUS to officially apologize for slavery or the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment? The US has paid 1.6 billion to American Japanese forced into camps during WWII. Time is over for “40 acres and a mule”. Gas is too high, you need to cut it.
