Born and raised in North Carolina, Drew has always been drawn to the outdoors—from the Appalachian Mountains to the Carolina coast. That deep appreciation for natural systems turned into a passion for understanding and protecting coastal environments.

At Natrx, Drew is on the front lines of learning about the Gulf and East Coast’s unique coastal systems. He connects with practitioners, conservationists, and engineers to understand regional challenges and help develop nature-based resilience solutions—including the launch of our innovative ExoFlex line.

One of his most fascinating projects? Collaborating with Dr. Jennifer Pollack from the Harte Research Institute to study serpulid reefs in Baffin Bay, exploring ways to protect and expand these critical habitats.
