Have you heard the saying "happy wife, happy life"?

As a husband, what I love about marriage is the level of commitment it brings to our relationship. Husbands know we're not always high in love. However, even if we don't feel high, we make a commitment to stay in love with our wives. As much as possible we want to grow in love, not just "fall" in love. It's only by God's grace we're still in love.

If you think you're ready for marriage, think again. It may be that marriage will make you ready. Loving someone is a journey. Enjoy it, not just endure it.

Does God know you in a very personal way?

We know God sees and knows everything, including your name. He knows you inside out. However, if you love God, there's a special connection between you and God. Loving him means he also responds to your love. This is truly difference-making in any person's life.

To love God is our greatest honor. But to be loved by God is something better. Love him and see for yourself.

Have you met someone who abandoned part of their dreams and, instead, spent their life taking care of a helpless loved one?

When someone loves another, it affects the life of the one who committed to love. It's like a son or a daughter with an elderly parent, a parent with a special child, even a soldier who sacrificed himself for his country, and more.

The truth is Jesus laid down his life more than enough for the world, even though he knew only a few would respond to his sacrifice at the cross. He even called his disciples as his friends, not merely as servants.

Would you care to love him in return and be a faithful friend?

What fills your day? Sadness? Worry? Boredom?

When you wake up in the morning, what comes first to your mind affects your entire day. If it is something positive, it will fill your whole day, but if it is negative, it's going to ruin your day--not unless you know how to rebound and make your day better.

A better way is to spend your morning thinking that you are loved by God. You are God's beloved. And because of that, you can also express your love for him all day long. Start your day with God's love and end it with his faithfulness. If you see a big difference, do it again the next day until it becomes a habit.
