Arizona, so much to explore! Checking out the Meteor Crater, formed 50,000 years ago when an asteroid hit the Earth at 26,000mph. Pretty impressive preservation of the impact site. @ Meteor Crater

Saw this little guy today in the wild!! Our very first sighting of a Gila Monster on the mountain roads along the Apache river. As an animal-loving family, we were ecstatic! Apparently, it’s pretty rare to see them as they only spend 3-5% of their time above ground.
