The longing and pull to open our work laptops at 9pm can be strong
We feel we *need to.*
If we don’t we fear we might not care enough, be dedicated enough to our work
We might fall behind or get in trouble
But does this serve your overall values and energy? Does it protect your sleep? Do you feel good after?
My client described this pivot to not opening her laptop at 9 as “breaking up”. That’s how strong that pull was to open it.
It’s something that was automatic - it felt like she didn’t have a choice. It was muscle memory
And now- she sees and is aware of her choice.
She is in the driver’s seat. She can reassure herself that email is not an emergency right now and pivot .
Now that she doesn’t open it automatically she feels more calm inside, is ruminating on work less at night, guarding her sleep more, and getting more present in her evening activities instead.
Sundays were the day she normally got pulled back into the work week.
And after practicing not opening the laptop- this past Sunday she couldn’t even remember where her laptop was!!!
She said the longing is so much less.
She broke up.
What a huge win!

A simple morning practice can affect your energy and mood all day
Choosing your intention- how you want to feel in the morning and carving out time first thing to make that happen

You get your body in to the rest and digest state first rather than starting your day in the fight or flight

I’ve decided to expand the women’s circles to be a larger witchy well woman community.
We will still do circle every other month. The other months I’m planning more nature based wellness experiences or witchy wellness gatherings.
It’s like your monthly dose of connection- to yourself, to other women and to nature. To recharge and realign.
It’s a space to show up as yourself amongst a group of similar minded women.
A place of love, honesty, belonging, and genuine connection

You’ve read you should drink lemon water, make a smoothie, work out, meditate, etc
