Am I the only one who strips down the patio preparing for our Annual pain in my tail POLLEN SEASON 🤦🏻‍♀️

A little furniture refresh for my entry console. I darkened this Mid Century piece just enough, with a ton of depth, to give it the change I was looking for. Even though I don't paint client pieces anymore, I still love to do a piece from time to time. Happy Sunday!

Giving my kitchen island a makeover. Wood in the kitchen has made a big comeback! Here’s the thing: what you are seeing in wood tones is not a trend if done correctly! Wood cabinets and islands can be timeless when done correctly. When I purchased our home, the house was 99 percent done. I personally would have never picked the island color. It’s something I have been wanting to change. If you know me, you know I’m a neutral girl in my design space, packed with textures. So, finally getting to paint this island is making me happy! The rest of this island will get painted after the Holiday Season in a beautiful brown tone to blend seamlessly with the wood tones.
