Today, we remember and honor Paul Dombalis.
The Mecca would not be what it is today without Paul. Through his kindness, unwavering dedication, and countless hours of hard work, he helped preserve a place that has meant so much to generations of Raleigh residents. He wasn’t just part of The Mecca’s story, he helped ensure it continued. He was the heart and soul of The Mecca restaurant last 20 years.
We are deeply grateful for everything Paul gave to this restaurant, its staff, and this community. His legacy lives on in these walls, in the traditions he protected, and in every guest who walks through our doors.
Thank you, Paul. You will always be part of The Mecca. ❤️
