On this Independence Day remember to keep your pets safe. More dogs go missing on the 4th of July than any other. Keep them safe inside, collar with tag, walk them early, keep calm in a quiet room, play soft music, secure them away from doors and windows, keep them busy, ambient brown noise, try safe comfort chew toys, or behavior chews.
We may love bright lights and bangs ... our pets do not.
