Was That Written by AI?

AI generated writing is difficult to identify with certainty, but there are certain clues you should be looking for. Here’s a 3-minute read on when to know you’re being hustled by someone saying their work is original when it was actually written by HAL.

Two bonus points if you know who HAL is.

Tinker Tin: CRT’s newest graduate

With well over 750 graduates of our free business mentoring service, the team at Chairmen’s RoundTable feels like we’re just getting warmed up. And we’re pleased to congratulate Tinker Tin on their completion of our program.

Based in Vista, CA, Tinker Tin designs and manufactures some of the most innovative and impressive retail fixtures and displays to be found anywhere in the US. “We focus on imagining unforgettable retail spaces, and believe that design is not a math problem, but a cultivation of experiences and emotions understood in a single moment in time.” When asked what else makes Tinker Tin stand out, CEO Matt Hannula pointed out that their delivery time is half that of anyone else in the industry.

Assuming you start from the position that time is money (WE do!), that advantage enables Tinker Tin’s clientele to sell faster than their competition can…unless they’re also working with Tinker Tin, of course.

After incorporating lessons learned from CRT mentors John Morris and John Reardon, Matt and his sister Jaime are at the head of a manufacturing juggernaut that will continue to take the retail world by storm. We’re delighted to have had the chance to help them even more opportunities for growth and improvement.

Understanding H-1B Visa Restrictions

The landscape of talent acquisition in the United States has fundamentally shifted. In September 2025 new restrictions on H-1B visas introduced a $100,000 fee for each new visa application, transforming how US companies approach their workforce strategy.

For businesses that depend on specialized technical talent, this isn't just a policy change; it's a call to reimagine how companies build and scale their teams. We asked Julia Duran, CEO of South Geeks, to show us how those in need should be navigating this potentially challenging situation. It’s a 5-minute MUST READ so you can understand this new reality.
