I want to share how Absolute Business Solutions came to be. After 16 years working with a CPA in Newton, specializing in tax preparation and accounting for small businesses, he decided to downsize his client base and work remotely. I decided to follow suit.

Part of my job was to service 65 small businesses. I knew small business owners needed a financial report to process their tax returns. However, many of them only had bank statements to show their expenses. I created a customized Excel workbook for each of them. This allowed their monthly activity to be recorded, and at the end of the year, their reports were balanced and ready for their Schedule C. With just a push of a button to produce their profit and loss statement for their tax return, in the order required.

Absolute Balance Solutions is my way of finding a new job where I can do what I love and am really good at while helping small business owners achieve a better work-life balance.
