In February 2026, current owner Franco Rauseo bought the farm in Holmdel for $1.65 million from the original owners, who opened it in 2020. He then reopened the farm and market to the public just last month. However, they abruptly closed Wednesday amid a pending lawsuit involving Rauseo and the township.

Rauseo, who calls himself Farmer Franco while wearing a suit and cowboy hat, says he was only trying to make Oak Hill Farms better for the animals and the people who visit.
