Especially when it's HOT outside, Black Hills Caverns is one of the first places we recommend visiting! This cave is just a few minutes from the Cabin. It has a great story, is fun to explore and the temperature is always 55 degrees.

We finally got a chance to eat at family-owned Mexico Tipico. It's less than two miles from the cabin and the parking lot is always full. Now we know why. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is bright & fun and the food is delicious! We definitely recommend it!

Canyon Lake Park is a beautiful city park on the western edge of Rapid City, just minutes from the cabin. You can drop a line in the water, walk along the lake or picnic in one of numerous areas throughout the park.
