It’s always nerve wracking having a new client- from having the pressure to do their hair exactly how their old stylist used to, to fixing a hair disaster and dealing with severely fragile hair or worrying if you don’t ‘click’- it’s a lot of pressure we take on as hair stylists and anyone who sees clients, patients, etc. may understand! Maternity leave update!!!!💖👶🏼
January 31st will be my last day in the salon- that is if I don’t have her before then! My “due date” is February 4th. In the event that I go before the 31st, I will be in contact with everyone who was scheduled and I will recommend who/where to go in the meantime!
Since I have no ‘set’ date of having her, I plan on taking 4-6 weeks off from work and easing back into the salon after 4-6 weeks. This will also depend on how the birth goes. A lot is still up in the air and I hope you all understand things can/will change as I get closer to my due date and can change again depending on everything that comes with having a new baby.
With all of that being said, PLEASE book your appointments NOW! January is filling up FAST! I am limiting my hours in the salon as I get closer to my final month of pregnancy so slots are limited.
