Two brothers having fun racing R/C Dirt and Carpet Oval Racecars

Went out to D&J Raceway last night for my first race at the new track. With the track being a true loose dirt track now it was definitely different from what I am use to, but after wrenching and tuning on the mod sprint and sc mod all night I got them working better. The results may not show the work and progress put forth, but that will only be temporary as I got some more home work to do and the good results will follow. Thanks to my sponsor Raw Speed for the support to help me race!

Hey everyone, as we get closer to kissing 2020 good bye forever, here at the shop things have been busy with a few new updated paint schemes for the 2021 season! It's definitely a departure from my usually colors, but who doesn't love the great Stars and Bars! Thanks to Jason Large for the killer paint job on the sprint, Jb-Rc Burge for the best bodies on the market and Dan Brown from Truline Graphics for the awesome wrap and number package!

Well and just like that the season is over. I know it's been pretty quiet on the page, but we have been doing some racing as I've posted on my personal page. It's been and up and down season since day one and to be honest a lot more down than up. Stuff with the 1/4 scale car has fought me tooth and nail and after 3 "races" I've yet to finish an actual heat/ main for one reason or another. On the dirt oval side of things I've struggled 90% of the time with my mod sprint car just trying to get it to go straight down the track, most of the time it was my inability to drive the car correctly, other times the car would just simply do weird things. One of the few ups this season was the decision to put together a pile of spare parts into another sprint car to go 17.5 spec racing.. And as soon as the car hit the track it was on a rail. It took a few races to get the monkey off my back with bad luck with other racers but when it counted the car and myself made no mistakes which lead to the win at the 34th Annual Open Wheel Nationals and a new track record. So as this season fades into the past and a new chapter starts in the form of indoor dirt oval it will be time to go back to basics and get these cars all acting like race cars again! Thanks for all of the support and kind words. They really do mean a lot. See you all real soon! ~Jeff
