5th of July harvest-amazing how quickly squash and zucchini grow overnight with rain!

Garden update

Last week, January 12, we dropped off our 1st steer to the butcher.
Back story-Rogyn bought him on Facebook Marketplace and we picked him up July 17, 2021. Price was $500, she offered 300, they settled at $400. We bottle fed him for a couple months.....while we commuted back amd forth from the camper. He was great cow, knew his name, and loved hamburger buns. He had a great life while we had him!
I will update as we hear more on his process. FYI-they kept his hide intact for us to have turned into a rug
