Blissfully Born

I did a class on Friday (yesterday) and it is messing me up. I had a great couple and even better I will be working with this couple in labor. So excited to help them out. I am trying to keep my days straight. Hope everyone has a blessed weekend. Happy Easter

On Tuesday I had the pleasure of helping a mama give birth for the third time. This was the third baby I helped this couple birth. Mama was strong but a little tired from waking up early with her oldest who was dealing with a cold. And couldn’t get back to sleep. Then came some contractions, but not !! She have a check up appointment, asked to be checked and she was 3 cm. Waiting for contractions to start up again. Then at 2pm she called me to stronger contractions so I go back. After an hour we go in so she can use the birth tub. After a while moms got out and was hands and knees. With on mighty push a beautiful baby girl was born making a big splash in the midwife’s arms. Beautiful birth, beautiful family. May God bless them.
