Halloween season is in full swing in downtown Salem, but the Berkeley crew isn’t slowing down! At Salem Five, major progress is underway on the second and third floor renovations.

One of our biggest achievements so far with this project has been the careful removal of the 120-year-old rotunda from the third floor. Serving as support for the main portion of the roof, the removal of the rotunda required extensive preconstruction planning and precise ex*****on.

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection rough-ins are underway throughout the space, as is the drywall installation, bringing new life and definition to the future offices.

For years, Berkeley has been committed to historical preservation, and we’re proud to continue that tradition with this landmark building. Thank you, Salem Five, for trusting us to help build your next chapter.

Salem Five 208 Essex Street - 2nd & 3rd floor office renovation including all new interior finishes and MEP/FP/FA systems. The teams worked strategically on the office layout and added new windows on the east elevation of the building.

Marriott Residence Inn Boston Back Bay/ Fenway - We completed this lobby & back of house office renovation this past August in partnership with & the design details speak seamlessly to the surrounding area
