HGA Pack 161

Last night Pack 161 held a Pinewood Derby clinic to help shape the Scout’s cars. They then have to finish sand and paint their cars before our upcoming race. These guys did a great job, especially considering how much effort it takes to cut through a block of wood with a handsaw!

At our last meeting, the Scouts learned a couple of knots and then put that new knowledge to use while making pinecone bird feeders to help our feathered friends out during these cold months. They may have also tried to use the new knots to tie up a leader 🤷🏼‍♂️

Our guys had a fun time, and a bit of silliness, after our race at our last meeting! The fun was well deserved after the recent service project for Holy Guardian Angels church.
