"Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson filed a lawsuit in King County Superior Court in 2014 alleging that Living Essentials (5 hour Energy) made deceptive and/or unfair representations in it's marketing that 5-hour Energy claimed to provide energy and alertness, was superior to coffee, was recommended by doctors, and does not cause a crash in consumers. A trial was held in August 2016 and they have incurred a 4 Million settlement. The Court was struck by the fact that defendants presented no testimony from a single scientist actually involved in developing the contents of this product. "The maker's of 5-hour broke the law and now they are paying for it."

I ran 5 miles on the levee today, invigorating to say the least

Ran the 5K Rook Run along the oceanfront. It was a beautiful day and the run was very crowded, it was very difficult to weave among the runners and walkers to get anywhere. A good time though.
